In support of The Greenprint - Markham’s Sustainability Plan, the Town is hosting a celebration with cooking demonstrations, workshops, children’s activities, interactive booths and opportunities to taste and learn about the benefits of delicious local food! It’s a Sustain-a-licious event!

Chef Collins will offer food demonstrations at 12pm, 1pm, 2pm. Seating is limited!
This is an opportunity for families to learn more about how our food grows, how it’s cultivated, and the earth that supports it. Live animal shows, hands-on workshops, seminars, tasty food samples from local farmers and restaurants, door prizes and much more will be featured at the fair.
Visitors will also learn more about Markham’s draft Greenprint Community Sustainability Plan, and provided an opportunity to register their views on how Markham can become a more sustainable community – now and in the future.
Join Markham’s Mayor and Council Members, and Sustainability Office staff for a day of fun and learning about food and Markham’s plan for a sustainable future.
